Th ~ Bounce a ball to a buddy.  Everyone cheers out name spelling from a card.
F ~ Make butter.  (Very easy and fun!  We just shake heavy whipping cream in a Tupperware container until it becomes butter.  It took ours about 10 minutes - passing it around.  Pour off the buttermilk, add a little salt and enjoy!)

- Create /b/ page and add /b/ words, pictures and stickers to it throughout the week.  Have children draw a bubble around each beginning b.  Add to /ă/ page to create a book.

Introduce Bubba Bear's ALC and sign.  Trace Bubba's shape in the air.
Read Bubba's page from Zeke and His Pals Level A Book 1, discuss.
Act out:  "Bubba Bear sees bees, do you?  Reach to the hive and count to 2."

W ~ Watch Bear Power Point, review Nature Card.  Complete Venn Diagram - compare brown bears and polar bears.
Sequence bears by size.
Th ~ String beads. 
Using a-f alphabet dice, roll and signal/sound the letter shown.
F ~ Point out birthday chart.  Read each child's birth date. 
Tomorrow is Kiley's birthday.  Make her a birthday card.

Outside Play (Large motor act. indoors in bad weather) - one organized activity will be offered along with plenty of time for free play

M ~ bubble art: Fill tray with colored, soapy water.  Ask, "What will happen if I blow into the water through a straw?"  Discuss, then blow.  Place white paper onto bubbles, lift to see prints.
T ~ ball pit; move like bears, butterflies, bees, bugs and birds in the balls
W ~ wash the bicycles
Th ~ Bubbles!  Fill the birdfeeders.
F ~ balance on one foot, walk a balance beam or line
10:45 - 11:00 Clean up, restroom, wash hands

T ~ The Three Bears by Beth Manners' Fun Spanish for Kids with stick puppets or magnet or flannel board pieces
W ~ Goldilocks and the Three Bears online story in Spanish.  Children retell story using puppets while listening to audio story.  Encourage Spanish word usage.
Th ~ Listen to Beth Manners' Fun Spanish for Kids version while looking at Goldilocks and the Three Bears book.
F ~ Act out story with puppets without audio story.  Encourage Spanish word usage.

11:30 - 11:45

Library Day or Music/Dance Time or Cooking Time (helping in the kitchen)
T ~ 2 minutes to sort buttons and explain the sorting rule used.  Repeat.
W ~ Decorate large Bubba bear to post under beehive. (Cut out shape from cardboard, cover with fake black fur.)  Label, "Bubba Bear sees bees, do you?  Reach to the hive and count to 2."
